This fall we began a project with the Mount Zion Baptist Church Preservation Society in Athens, Ohio.
Our work began with aiding Ariana Makau of Nzilani Stained Glass Conservation with the removal of the original stained glass windows. Both companies are lead and asbestos safety certified and worked inside a wrapped scaffold system to complete the removal of all the windows in the building.

Blind Eye's work then continued with the exterior lead paint abatement, window carpentry restoration, and exterior finish painting. The funds to complete the stained glass restoration and reinstallation of the windows are still being raised as the church is undergoing a complete renovation to become a community center to support black culture in southeast Ohio.
While we were onsite we were interviewed by several different news venues.
