City of Upper Arlington Public Art Restoration

Blind Eye Restoration has been hired by the City of Upper Arlington for consecutive summers to assess and apply conservation maintenance treatments to their public art sculpture collection. In the summer of 2023 pictured above, the materials of the sculptures ranged from painted steel, weathering (Corten) steel, stainless steel, stone, casted concrete and fiberglass, and cold cast bronze. Each piece was thoroughly documented, assessed for proper conservation treatment and product recommendations, and cleaned before conservation treatments began.
