Blind Eye Restoration was hired by a private client in Columbus, Ohio to consolidate a badly flaking vintage model home sign. After a delicate cleaning, a diluted resin was injected behind the flaking paint, and gentle heat and pressure were applied to reattach the flakes to the substrate. The sign painter’s signature was able to be saved, and the sign regained a great deal of its readability.
